Dr. Tyler Hodgson

Dr. Hodgson is from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada, and always had a passion for animals. After earning a degree in Animal Biology from the University of Guelph he went on to complete his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the Ontario Veterinary College. After medical school, Dr. Hodgson made his way to San Diego through a rotating internship program at Veterinary Specialty Hospital and loved everything about San Diego and veterinary medicine. Throughout his career, Dr. Hodgson has practiced exclusively in small animal medicine and received additional training in his areas of interest: ultrasound, dermatology, and internal medicine. Dr. Hodgson’s style focuses on collaborating with his human clients to create individualized treatment plans for his furry patients. Dr. Hodgson lives in San Diego with his son, dog, and cat. When not spending time with his family and friends he enjoys CrossFit, playing board games and cooking.
