Dr. Melinda Benitez

Dr. Benitez is a San Diego native, born and raised in the Point Loma/Ocean Beach area. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Physiology from the University of Washington in 2012 before crossing the state to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 2018. Melinda graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors along with completion of the veterinary business association capstone project. Melinda’s interests involve preventative medicine, surgery, ultrasonography, internal medicine and all the Golden Retrievers! She strives to foster the human-animal bond along with creating a trusting and lasting relationship with her clients + patients. In her spare time, Dr. Benitez enjoys going to sporting events and outdoor activities including camping and hiking with her husband, son, and 2 dogs.
