Dr. Bower was born and raised in San Diego. She obtained her Bachelors of Animal Science at UC Davis in 2017, and went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021 before returning home to sunny San Diego. Dr. Bower is well educated in the most recent therapies, treatments, and research in the veterinary field and places emphasis in practicing preventive medicine to such an extent that she served as the Liaison for the American Heartworm Society during her time in veterinary school. Her favorite part of being a veterinarian is getting to nurture the human animal bond and developing lasting relationships with both pets and clients. Dr. Bower takes special interest in preventive medicine, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine. She lives at home with her cat Tibbs, and dog Gabby and in her free time enjoys hiking, discovering where the best California Burrito is hiding, learning to surf, and playing board games!
